What are attractor patterns?
Attractor patterns have exaggerated trigger points, vibrant colours and tantalising movements to excite and arouse the curiosity of the fish, stimulating a “take”. Unlike imitation patterns that try to replicate the looks and movement of a natural fish’s food source, the attractor pattern will emphasis the colours and movements in order to attract the fish’s attention.
Attractor flies excel within trout lakes where they often seriously out fish imitative flies.
