What is a Low Water Double Hook?

Low Water Doubles (LWD) are Salmon hooks which have been designed to fish in low & skinny waters. These LWD's, such as the Ken Sawada hooks, are far stronger than they may initially appear and are dressed as proven patterns.

Examples of these are the Ally's, Willie's and Silver Stoats.

We work closely with our fly tyers and can tie most patterns to order: a different hook size, barbless instead of barbed, a tungsten bead instead of a gold head; just ask.

Sending a request is free and you are not committing to buy. Depending on where we are in our tying cycle it can take a month or two for a pattern to arrive, and we may not be able to tie every request (fair usage applies); but if we can, we will.
