Silver Doctor has been one of my favorite flies since I started fly fishing in mid 1950s in the area of my homevillage, Långå, in the mountin region Härjedalen, in the middle of Sweden. Most frequently used flies were “Hedeflugan” a series of 35 flies. The designers name was Oscar Fick and later on his daughter Alma. But out of the English flies were Silver Doctor my absolute favorite, still in use. Tight lines, Helge Jonsson Sweden
