This Denis the Menace Gold Head Blob is a highly effective pattern on all types of still water. It is very effective when fished on a floating line using a very slow retrieve but is also deadly when pulled fast with a sinking line. Blob flies are probably one of the most used trout lures of modern fishing and they are a big favourite of the competition angler.
